What’s Next?

Wow…thank you. Wow.

I approach my second to last writing of the challenge with tears in my eyes. I’m just so thankful for you and the ability to enter and complete this challenge with your heartening words resounding through my efforts.

I spent blessed time with dear family yesterday, slept soundly and woke up to encouragement. I just feel like singing! (Actually, I have been – all morning.) There are good days and there are not-so-good days. But God loves us through them all and our loved ones do, as well. When that truth washes over, we can hear our heart’s melody attune to His. How amazing is that.

Friends, if you’re not in the same place right in this moment, no worries. God has BIG plans for you and we will all have days when we need a reminder or two of that so don’t feel badly if you do! In fact, I’m thinking a lot today about a certain friend in a very uncertain place and I just want to say:

God’s brought you through so much. You are a living, breathing testament to the power of His sweet love and redemption. Though some can already see your incredible strength, I believe the best is yet to come. Don’t lose heart. Often times, when we feel just about to ready to give up, something extraordinary happens to remind us we are and always have been safe in His care. God’s going to use your story to build up others – I believe this. So, just keep walking this path in trust. See Him walking beside you – you know He’s there. The rest of us will watch with great anticipation to see what will happen.

On another note, a few dear friends have asked me “what’s next?” after this challenge.

One thing I know for sure is I will keep writing! Yes, I have dreamed of being an author for quite some time now and have been working on a book for about 8 years. I’m so grateful you see potential as that just fires me up to keep trying! As far as the blog, I don’t think I’ll be submitting daily material but I WILL keep posting. Eventually, I hope to find a new rhythm with that. Or maybe I’ll just keep randomly posting as life is fairly random itself. Actually, this believer is pretty certain there’s no randomness about it whatsoever.

I am praying for all of you. Just want you to know that. I thank you for your prayers, as well. I will be back tomorrow for the final post of the challenge but there will be more thoughts to come in November! Again, I thank you for sticking this out with me – what a blessing you’ve been and will continue to be.

Blessings to you as well, dear ones. Remember how loved you are today – right where you are. God will see you through whatever you face today and bring you to a song-filled tomorrow.

I know how difficult it has been for you to fit this new challenge into your busy life, but I also know that I am so not ready to let go of your “daily devotional”. All I can say is that I believe in you, I believe in your words & their power to enlighten & inspire. I believe with all of my heart that the Holy Spirit moves through you, & that God had a special purpose in keeping you here on this earth to spread His word. I didn’t think it was possible, but you have opened my eyes & my heart even more. Don’t give up my Angel, your message needs to be heard far beyond the reach of this blog. We will always love & support you in whatever endeavor you choose. You make us very proud!

In my opinion, your dream of becoming an author has already come true! Let us know when that book is finished! Can’t wait to read it!
