Some nights, I come home and my house is a little too quiet and a little too lonely. Some nights, I come home and my house is exactly what I need.
Last night, I came home to a quiet and comfortable house after a long day. I crawled into my bed. My room was still and peaceful. I thanked God for the blessings in my life. Then I called it a day.
Today, I’m thinking of all those I love – friends and family facing challenges and experiencing joys of all different sizes and colors and I’m remembering life is the same for them…
Some days, it stings a bit. Some days, it feels just right.
And we all hold each other up on the days it’s a little harder and celebrate with each other on the days that feel light.
Life is a blessing. Loved ones are a blessing.
That’s really all I have to say today save for one last thing…
wherever you are today, reach out to the God and the people who long to share your life with you. Let them be to you who they’d like to be. There is something so unbelievably precious in walking this life with those who have seen your ups and downs and love the story your building.
Thank you to those who love mine.
